I am trying to write a short story about someone lurking in the dark waiting for someone either to kill them or to rob them. But I can’t get the feel of this act. I’m trying to read books with good descriptions that chills you. What are some books that you guys recommend?

    Try Demon Seed by Dean Koontz. It’s easy to read, and it gives you the creeps. It has a unique way of viewing things, like it’s completely normal, even though in reality, it’s really horrible.
    It’s about this live computer locking up this women to try to create a body for himself, but you can adapt it to a stalker guy. It would work well.
