Superbowl XLV Predictions and Betting

It is time for Andy to pick the Superbowl. Will it be the Packers or the Steelers? And, if you are a betting man, who should you bet on?
People are interested in everything about the Superbowl. I have found articles on how to watch the Superbowl online, how to bet on the Superbowl, and even 28 days of recipes for the Superbowl which kind of begs the question, why 28? The Superbowl is only one day after all.
All of this is great, but what most interests me about Superbowl 2011 is who will win the game and on whom should I put my money?
I have been giving this a lot of thought and, initially, I wanted to go with the Packers. Though they have played against great defenses, the Packer offense just seems to get more imposing each week. Aaron Rodgers seems unstoppable and the Packer defense, as we have seen, is vastly underrated. All of these reasons and more are what led me to the Packers.
But those are just statistics and do not speak to the Steelers heart and experience.
After reading about the Steelers Superbowl experience on ESPN this morning, I find that my mind is changing. The Packers enter this game with no experience and may be like a deer in headlights when the clock ticks go. The Steelers, on the other hand, have been there. They have been to the Superbowl a lot…and a lot recently. They have heart determination in experience.
This new sentiment also bodes well for betting the Superbowl. As we read in the article Superbowl Moneyline Bets, they believe that the line will move more favorably for the Steelers as we get closer to the game. They say:
For serious handicappers looking to bet on the Green Bay Packers, I’d get my bets in now. For those looking to bet on the Steelers, I’d wait until we get closer to kickoff.
Thus, my pick is the Steelers and I will be betting on them come the weekend!
