you have to feel it, and when the beat kicks in the go for it, when watching just let the ryhthm hit your head bob a little and then follow with a knee jerk. You dont have to dance, but if you want to then just go for it, keeping it simple but being yourself,

To dance and not be embarrassed, you have to really think about it…What are you embarrassed about? Messing up? If you mess up you can just make something up as you go on…If you’re embarrassed about them thinking that your dancing is bad? Just tell yourself “Wow! I’m good at dancing.” Why else would they be asking you to?

the second you think about what you’re doing, it will become awkward. just do what feels right. theres no right or wrong answer to dancing and if anyone tells you otherwise, they’re immature. just do your thing. everyone dances differently.
